Murphy Wealth Management Celebrates 30 Year Anniversary with Donation to Grace Smith House

Murphy Wealth Management, a Fishkill, NY based financial services firm with clients throughout the Hudson Valley and beyond, is proud to be celebrating the firm’s 30-year anniversary. Founder Daniel Murphy wanted to celebrate the occasion by donating to a cause that has special meaning to him. “I serve as a board member of the Grace Smith House, an organization that provides residential shelter, counseling, advocacy and legal assistance to victims of domestic violence,” said Daniel Murphy. “The work they do is very important. I wanted to commemorate our anniversary by showing my support for this organization which has also served the local community for over thirty years.”

Daniel met with Grace Smith House Executive Director, Michele Pollock Rich to determine a meaningful way to give. They decided that Murphy Wealth would provide thirty “Pamper Yourself Kits” for women in the shelter which included toiletry essentials such as shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, deodorant, floss, tooth brush and tooth paste. They would also provide thirty backpacks for children in the program, that would also include basic school supplies. “We couldn’t be more grateful to Daniel, not only for his donation, but for the tireless work he puts in as a board member,” said Michele Pollack Rich. “He truly makes a difference here.”
